HPL Electric Banks On Metering Business For Double-Digit Revenue Growth In FY20

HPL Electric & Power Ltd. expects double-digit revenue growth in 2019-20 on the back of its metering business, according to the company’s joint managing director Gautam Seth.

“We do see a strong set of numbers on the metering front,” Seth told BloombergQuint. “With the election getting over, this would again bring in much more momentum on the metering side.”

Metering, also the biggest segment for HPL, grew 37 percent in the last quarter of FY19, Seth said, adding that the company had an order book of Rs 575 crore in the fourth quarter.
