Goldman Names Frost, Kelleners Consumer Retail Group Heads
(Bloomberg) -- Goldman Sachs Group Inc. has named Ben Frost and Andre Kelleners global co-heads of the bank’s consumer retail group, according to a memo reviewed by Bloomberg.
The pair will join the executive committee of the firm’s investment banking division and take over from Stephan Feldgoise, who will focus on his duties as global co-head of mergers and acquisitions, the memo shows. A representative for Goldman Sachs confirmed the contents of the memo.
“Ben and Andre will work to enhance CRG’s global strategy with a focus on continuing to drive our leadership position, strengthening client relationships, identifying new opportunities for growth, and developing our global team,” Dan Dees and Jim Esposito, co-heads of investment banking, said in the memo.
Frost, currently global head of mergers and acquisitions for consumer retail, joined Goldman Sachs as a partner in 2018 from Morgan Stanley. He advised Callaway Golf Co. on its purchase of Topgolf Entertainment Group as well as Campbell Soup Co. on the sale of its international business to KKR & Co.
Kelleners, based in London, currently leads the consumer retail business in Europe, Middle East and Africa. He joined the bank in 2000 as an analyst in Frankfurt and has worked in Sydney and New York, according to his biography on the bank’s website. Transactions he has worked on include Procter & Gamble Co.’s sale of its beauty business to Coty Inc. and JAB Holdings BV’s purchase of Keurig Green Mountain as well as its merger with Dr Pepper Snapple Group.
