Fortis Healthcare Gets BSE, NSE Nod To Reclassify Promoters, Including Singh Brothers

Post reclassification, Northern TK Venture remains the Fortis Healthcare promoter with a 31.17 percent stake in the hospital firm.

Fortis Healthcare Ltd. on Monday said it has received approval from Bombay Stock Exchange Ltd. and the National Stock Exchange for reclassification of its promoters, including Singh brothers—Malvinder Singh and Shivinder Singh.

Fortis Healthcare has received approval from both the stock exchanges—BSE Ltd. and NSE—for reclassification of the following promoters Malvinder Mohan Singh Trust, Harpal Singh, Abhishek Singh, Malvinder Mohan Singh, Shivinder Mohan Singh, Fortis Healthcare Holdings Pvt. Ltd., Malav Holdings Pvt. Ltd. and RHC Holding Pvt. Ltd., said Fortis Healthcare in a regulatory filing.

"The remaining promoter of the company is Northern TK Venture Pte. Ltd," it added.

Fortis Healthcare had in August 2018 applied for reclassification of these promoters. Post reclassification, Northern TK Venture Pte Ltd. remains the promoter with a 31.17 percent stake in the healthcare firm.

On Monday, Fortis Healthcare shares fell 0.40 percent to Rs 124.75 apiece on the BSE while the benchmark Sensex rose 1.37 percent to close at a record high of 40,267.62 points.
