Dhanuka Agritech Ltd. expects its margins to recover in the second half of the ongoing financial year after an erratic monsoon affected the pesticide maker’s performance in the first half.

That’s according to its Managing Director MK Dhanuka, who said he anticipates strong demand for chemical products. “The third quarter is really showing very good recovery and (we have) been seeing good growth in the first one-and-a-half months of the third quarter,” Dhanuka told BloombergQuint in an interview.

“We foresee that because of the moisture in the ground, and the water available for irrigation in the reservoirs, the Rabi season should be fantastic,” he said.
