(Bloomberg) -- The Aspen Mountain ski resort in Colorado announced plans to reopen over the May 25-27 Memorial Day weekend -- start of the summer travel season -- thanks to another round of late snow.
Vail Resort Inc.’s Breckenridge Ski Resort as well as the Arapahoe Basin Ski Area in Keystone are currently open, according to the website On The Snow.
A storm crossed the region overnight with reports of up to 13 inches of new snow in the Colorado Springs area, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder.
