‘Make In India’ And ‘Make America Great Again’ Can Go Hand In Hand, Says Nisha Biswal Of USIBC

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Make In India’ and U.S. President Donald Trump’s ‘Make America Great Again’ campaigns should be seen as complementary rather than as protectionist measures.

That’s according to Nisha Biswal, president of the U.S.-India Business Council. The two campaigns not only provide for more jobs but also more investments into both countries, Biswal told BloombergQuint prior to the India Idea Summit, the first annual meeting in India of the USIBC.

I think we have plenty of scope for developing win-win solutions and for developing industries that we enforce each other in both countries.
