Cement maker Sanghi Industries Ltd., which recently set up a four million tonne facility in Kutch, Gujarat, expects to reach a capacity utilisation of 90 percent.
The new capacity at Kutch takes the company’s total capacity to 8.1 million tonnes and volumes to 7 million tonnes, Bina Engineer, whole-time director of the company told BloombergQuint in an interview.
Besides, the company expects cement prices to stabilise after a shaky start in April coming off a strong quarter for the building material.
