Century Plyboards Seeks To Exceed 80% Capacity Utilisation In First Half Of FY19

Century Plyboards eyes capacity utilisation of over 80% in the next fiscal due to growth in key MDF business.

Century Plyboards India Ltd. is targeting a capacity utilisation of more than 80 percent in the first half of the next financial year, led by its medium density fibre business.

The capacity utilisation at its MDF plants stands at 65 percent currently and the company is looking at expanding its Hoshiarpur MDF plant, Managing Director Sanjay Agarwal told BloombergQuint in an interview.

Century Plyboards expects implementation of the e-way bill and reverse charge mechanism under Goods and Services Tax to aid business growth.
