Mahindra Holidays Eyes Over 89% Occupancy This Summer

Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India Ltd. is eyeing an occupancy of 89 percent in the April-June quarter as the holiday season sets in this summer.

The company has an edge over home-stay players such as Airbnb as it provides “a wholesome travel experience” to its customers through various benefits provided in the membership, Kavinder Singh, managing director and chief executive officer of Mahindra Holidays told BloombergQuint in an interview.

The hospitality arm of the Mahindra Group expects higher memberships from Tier-II and Tier III cities, driven by higher income levels of households, to fuel future growth.
