Rural Digitisation Will Drive Siti Networks’ Average Revenue

Siti Network’s Rajesh Sethi talks about what will drive earnings for the next few quarters.

The transition from cable television to digital set top boxes in rural areas has lead to a an increase in the average revenue per user from Rs 50 to Rs 55, said Rajesh Sethi, chief business transformation officer of Siti Networks Ltd. Looking at the portfolio mix, phase three and phase four - which involves digitalisation in rural areas - has "much higher leverage" to drive ARPU and is expected to do so in the next few quarters, he said.
