Leaders of India’s top information technology companies acknowledge that their customers are now more interested in bringing changes to their business models and less inclined to simply run their businesses the traditional way.

The existence of traditional business models is under threat and enterprises across the board are now looking for solutions to prepare them for this shift towards new technologies, Anand Deshpande, founder and chief executive officer of Persistent Systems Ltd. told BloombergQuint.

Persistent Systems offers exactly these products and solutions and is well paced to benefit from this change, he added.

Internet of Things will remain in focus for his company with intellectual properties taking a lead. Financial services and healthcare are two verticals the company is most inclined towards, Deshpande said.
