The Nifty Futures on the Singapore Exchange, an early indicator of Nifty’s performance in India, gained 0.83 percent to 8,515.

Here are the stocks to watch for today’s session:

  • Lupin: Receives an Establishment Inspection Report (EIR) for the Goa facility from USFDA for an inspection carried out in March 2016.
  • Punjab National Bank: To raise tier-I capital bonds up to Rs 3,000 crore. To raise tier II bonds of up to Rs 3000 crore subject to availability of headroom.
  • Sun Pharma: Pledges 1 lakh shares in favour of Kotak Securities.
  • Grasim: Gets RBI approval to raise FPI limit to 30 percent from 24 percent.
  • NMDC: Produced 16.8 million tonne of iron ore and sold 18.97 million tonne of iron in October 2016.
  • Union Bank of India: To raise Rs 3,500 crore via rights issue or QIP.
  • Indian Hotels: Independent directors express confidence in Cyrus Mistry.
  • Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail: Strikes a deal with global luxury brand ‘Ted Baker.’

  • Gati: Invests in multi-channel order management platform ‘BrownTape Technologies.’
  • Spice Mobility: Subsidiary Spice VAS Africa acquires 100 percent stake in SVA (Mauritius) Pvt. Ltd.
  • Ujaas Energy: Receives order for design, supply, testing and commissioning of Grid Interactive SPV.
  • Dalmia Bharat: To merge with Odisha Cement (OCL) and Dalmia Cement. Dalmia Bharat holders to get 2 OCL shares for every 1 DBL share.
