Aug. 28 (Bloomberg) -- Merrill Fernando beat the odds to become a tea master in Sri Lanka. The profession was reserved for the island's British colonial masters at the time. He named his company Dilmah after his sons, Dilhan and Malik, and has watched it grow into a global brand that supplies tea to more than 100 countries.
