Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg Testifies To U.S. Congress For The First Time

Zuckerberg appears before a joint session of the Senate commerce and judiciary committees in his two-day testimony.

Facebook Inc.’s Chief Executive Officer Mark Zuckerberg is testifying before U.S. lawmakers on issues ranging from troves of user data harvested app developers and political consultant Cambridge Analytica to Russian operatives’ use of the social network to spread misinformation and discord during the 2016 U.S. presidential election.

Zuckerberg is appearing in the U.S. Congress for the first time in a joint hearing of the Senate Judiciary and Commerce Committees.
