We hosted the management of VRL Logistics Ltd. to get an understanding of the current business scenario and its outlook. The management is optimistic on the company’s growth prospects over the next couple of years. A shift towards the organised sector would result in robust business opportunities for the larger players in this space.
In the near term, stabilisation of fuel prices and improved volumes will benefit this sector. The company is focusing on the high-margin less than truck load business (driven by the business-to-business segment) and is expanding its network into newer markets.
We expect VRL Logistics to clock a revenue/Ebitda/profit after tax compound annual growth rate of ~19%/19%/45% over FY21- 24E.
