Voltamp Transformers Ltd. reported disappointing performance for the quarter wherein revenue de-grew by 30% YoY aided by slower dispatch of goods due to delay in clearance/payments from clients.
Margins contracted by 300 basis points owing to sharp increase in raw material prices. Thus, overall weak operating performance led to miss in profitability.
Order inflows during the quarter came in at Rs 1.9 billion, down 8% YoY largely affected due to deferment of orders.
Order backlog stood strong at Rs 5.4 billion, up 20% YoY providing revenue visibility for two-three quarters.
