In 2021, a low base will support recovery, but recovery is likely to be prolonged. While the theme to play would be the ‘opening up’ trade post-pandemic, we believe the recovery will see some ‘stops and starts’.

Intermittent containment measures cannot be ruled out even as vaccines are being rolled out.

Growth supportive policies from global policymakers will continue to rule in 2021 and it will be another year when liquidity will drive global markets.

Emerging Markets, including India, will benefit from easy liquidity.
