Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. reported beat in revenue with growth of up 3% QoQ U.S. dollar (our estimate:2.5%, consensus: 2.1%). Growth was broad-based led retail and consumer packaged goods (up 3.7% QoQ USD), communications and media (up 3% QoQ USD), manufacturing (up 3% QoQ USD).
Deal total contract was healthy at $7.6 billion, flat QoQ, up 12% YoY. This includes strong deal win of $2.9 billion in banking, financial services and insurance, $1 billion in retail and $4.5 billion in North America.
Deal pipeline continues to be strong with good mix of large, mid-sized and small deals. Several new deal wins were driven by TCS’s innovative products and platforms. The company's experienced improved realisation this quarter and there is further scope for price increase.
