Rossari Biotech Ltd. registered consolidated revenue of Rs 3845.2 million (up 124% YoY / up 66.4% QoQ) which is well above our estimates of Rs 2,450 million.
Revenue contribution from the home, personal care and performance chemicals, textile specialty chemicals and animal health and nutrition segment stood at 61.4%, 28.5% and 10.1%, respectively.
There was an increase in overall cost of goods sold on account of raw material price inflation during the quarter. This has led to contraction in Rosarri Biotech's overall margins for the quarter.
Gross margin stood at 22.2%. Ebitda reported at Rs 439 million (up 46.1% YoY / up 18.3% QoQ) and Ebitda margin stood at 11.4% (down 609 bps YoY / down 464 bps QoQ).
Finance cost increased at Rs 19.3 million (up 179.8% YoY) led by increase in total borrowings.
Profit after tax reported at Rs 263.5 million (up 27.1% YoY / up 7.4% QoQ).
