Moreover, PVC prices corrected sharply towards end of Q3 FY22, impacting revenues of these companies. The PVC pipes industry witnessed a higher realisation and peak prices in Oct-21, which has reversed and corrected ~20% in Dec-21, from peak recorded in Oct-21.
Pipes’ companies are likely to report muted financials in Q3 FY22, led by the weak demand from both agri and non-agri segments. PVC resins saw a huge volatility in Q3 FY22, correcting 20% from the peak.
