We recently attended the virtual brokers/analyst meet for Burger King India Ltd. forthcoming initial public offering.

Following are the key takeaways -

Burger King brand, also known as the ‘Home of the Whopper’, was founded in 1954 in the U.S. and is owned by Burger King Corporation, a subsidiary of restaurant brands International Inc.

The Burger King brand is the second largest fast-food burger brand globally as measured by the total number of restaurants, with a global network of 18,675 restaurants as at September 30, 2020.

Presently it has 268 restaurants in 57 cities across the country.
