Motilal Oswal Report
Recovery momentum witnessed in July 2021 continued well into September 2021, despite fears of a potential third Covid-19 wave in the early part of Q2 FY22.
Q1 FY22 was impacted by the second Covid-19 wave.
Relative to Q1 FY22, we expect disbursement volumes of 170-230% for most affordable housing/vehicle financiers.
Impact on assets under management growth is likely to be higher for short duration products like vehicle loans as collections held up well in Q2 FY22.
Collection efficiencies were better for housing financiers (especially the salaried segment) relative to other segments.
For vehicle financiers, or micro finance institutions, we expect collection efficiency in the 90-100% range.
