Motilal Oswal Report

Revenue per available room performance for The Indian Hotels Company Ltd. standalone improved sequentially, led by improved occupancy levels.

The company has been successful in generating an additional revenue stream (with higher Ebitda flow) without deploying additional resources.

Cost reduction initiatives undertaken by the company have yielded results, wherein Ebitda (including other income) stood at Rs 130 million for September 2020 (versus loss of Rs 600 million/Rs 360 million for July/August 2020). This, in our view, is commendable.
