This festive season is very crucial as it will give more clarity on demand recovery post the lockdown.

Though the festive season saw a slow start, market is optimistic about ending it with flat-to-single-digit growth.

Current discounts are 30-40% lower than last year and inventory levels are also in line with expected demand.

For October 2020, most original equipment manufacturer plants have further improved utilizations on month-on-month basis.

With expected Kharif cashflow in November 2020, markets are optimistic of higher sales.
