In the first fortnight of October 2021, economic activity was stable with the festive season ringing in optimism.
Mobility improved across the board and is now close to or above pre-Covid-19 levels, except for workplace mobility, which dipped from the previous fortnight and is still below pre Covid-19 levels.
Notably, mobility for retail and recreation is back to pre-Covid-19 levels.
The number of active Covid cases was down by 26% from the previous fortnight while the number of deaths was down by 17.8%. However, the pace of vaccination slowed over the previous fortnight.
The incremental number of fully vaccinated people was down by 20.7% over the previous fortnight.
