ICICI Securities Report
Total annualised premium equivalent and Individual APE declined 42% and 40% respectively in April 2020, 23% and 32% YoY in May 2020, 8% and 7% in June 2020 and 15% and 18% in FY21-to-date for private life insurers.
For the month of July 2020, total APE witnessed a growth of 0.3% YoY while individual APE growth continued to remain negative (7% YoY). Number of policies sold declined 11% YoY in FY21 so far for private insurers.
