ICICI Bank Ltd.'s net interest income increased by 21% YoY to Rs 1,26,046 million in Q4 FY22 from Rs 1,04,311 million in Q4 FY21. The net interest margin was 4.0% in Q4 FY22 versus 3.84% Q4 FY21.
NII for FY22 stood at Rs 4,74,661 million, a growth of 22% YoY. Core operating profit (profit before provisions and tax, excluding treasury income) grew by 19% YoY in Q4 FY22.
However, the profit after tax grew by 59% YoY to Rs 70,187 million in Q4 FY22 compared to Rs 44,026 million in Q4 FY21.
For FY22, ICICI Bank's profit after tax stood at Rs 2,33,395 million, an increase of 44% YoY. Provisions declined by 63% YoY to Rs 10,690 million in Q4 FY22 while for the full year FY22 it was reported at Rs 86,414 million (down by 47% YoY).
