In Q2 FY22, we note a sharp recovery in occupancy and average room rate, especially in leisure destinations.
The experts have opined that in some leisure destinations, the revenue per available room has been higher than the pre-pandemic levels.
In the recent past, average room rate in business destinations like Mumbai and National Capital Region has also shown a sharp increase.
In logistics, with normalisation of the economic environment and lifting of Covid-19 induced restrictions, we expect an improvement in freight volume for Container Corporation of India Ltd. and Blue Dart Express Ltd.
