General Insurance - Strong July Performance Shrugs Off The Pandemic Cloud, Health Remains Ahead: CARE Ratings

The non-life insurance industry has continued its strong performance with the July 2021 monthly numbers reported a 19.5% growth continuing with the trend seen during the previous months.

Non-life insurance premium reached Rs 20,171.2 crore for the month of July 2021 compared to Rs 16,884.8 crore in July 2020.

The growth has been driven by the health and fire segments with the motor segment also turning in positive numbers.
