Systematix Research Report

The Central Government has rolled over the nutrient-based subsidy rates to the Rabi season (October 2021 to March 2022), keeping the per kg subsidy rates for nitrogen-phosphorus-potassium nutrient unchanged over the Kharif season (April to September 2021).

However, owing to the constant increase in raw material prices, the government has announced a special one-time package for DAP (di-ammonium phosphate) and the three most consumed NPK grades viz., NPK 10-26-26, NPK 20-20-0-13 and NPK 12-32-16.

Under this package, an additional subsidy of Rs 438 per bag on DAP fertilisers and Rs 100 per bag on the three NPK grades has been announced.
