Dolat Capital:  UltraTech Cement’s Capacity Expansion To Drive Growth

UltraTech Cement Ltd. has announced capacity expansion program to expand its India cement capacity by 19.5 million tonnes per annum to 130.9 mtpa (FY23) from 111.4 mtpa (FY20).

This expansion consists of 6.7 mtpa ongoing expansion and 12.8 mtpa proposed expansion with a capex of Rs 10.5 billion and Rs 54.8 billion respectively totaling to Rs 65.3 billion.

The company plans to commission 2.0/4.7/12.8 mtpa capacity in FY21/FY22/FY23.

This capex is spread mainly across the East and Central regions with some in the North and West regions.
