HDFC Securities Institutional Equities

Our discretionary universe is expected to clock 37/21% revenue/Ebitda growth YoY (on a low base) in Q3 FY22 (two-year revenue/Ebitda compound annual growth rates of 18% each).

The lollapalooza effect of an unlocked economy and strong festive and wedding season were strong underpinnings.

Food and grocery, jewellery, paints, apparel and footwear are expected to clock 16%, 29%, 23%, 8%, and 11% (two-year CAGRs). Ticket sizes in retail, though normalising, remain elevated from pre-Covid-19 levels; footfalls have yet to catch up (excluding jewellery).
