We recently interacted with the management of Colgate-Palmolive (India) Ltd. to get an update on the overall operating environment.

The management believes that recent quarters have seen good momentum in growth.

Topline growth for FY21 was driven more by volume than pricing. The company will continue to make conscious efforts to ensure a balanced approach towards topline growth.

While the second Covid-19 wave brought some element of uncertainty in terms of store shutdowns, the company expects the growth momentum to largely continue.
