Centrum Broking: Orient Cement Awaits Revival in Key Markets

Orient Cement Ltd. revenues fell in Q2 FY21 to Rs 4.78 billion on the back of volume decline of 17.7% YoY (higher than our estimates) that was offset by realisation gain of 13% YoY.

Southern region (key Orient Cement market) stayed weak due to impact of pandemic and heavy monsoon.

The trade/non-trade mix has shifted back to normal 60:40 (after a brief aberration of 75% trade mix in Q1 FY21).
