Centrum Broking Report
IndiGo reported loss of Rs 28.4 billion led by 93% decline in domestic traffic amid lockdown. Operations were supported by strong ticket yield, lower fuel and employee costs.
Ticket yield grew 11.1% YoY Rs 4.53 while revenue per available seat kilometer grew 2.2% YoY to Rs 4.19 supported by chartered operations, ancillary incomes and cargo.
Unit fuel costs declined 55% YoY to Rs 0.61 with average air turbine fuel costs falling 47% YoY.
Available seat kilometers declined 91% YoY to 2.1 billion while revenue per kilometers declined 94% YoY to 1.3 billion resulting in load factor of 61.3%.
Gross debt reduced to Rs 23.7 billion in June 2020 versus Rs 24.3 billion in March 2020 while free cash reduced to Rs 75.3 billion in June 20 versus Rs 92.8 billion in March 2020.
