Centrum Broking Report
Gujarat Pipavav Port Ltd. has notified its revised tariffs effective October 01, 2020.
Following are the key highlights -
Cargo handling tariffs - Container handling tariff (for both road and rail based containers) raised by 6% from 85/ twenty-foot equivalent unit dollar to 90 dollar (for 20ft containers).
PIDC (Port Infrastructure Development Charge) for rail based containers raised by 13-17% to 14 dollar / 27 dollar for 20ft/40ft containers.
No change in charges for internal transportation and transportation to and from container freight station (CFS).
Marine Charges - Pilotage and towage charges for container vessels raised 25% for container vessels and 10% for liquid vessels.
Berth hire charges raised 25% for container vessels and 31% for dry bulk vessels.
Tug hire charges raised by 43% to 600/hour dollar from 420/hour dollar.
There has been no change in ‘Port dues’ charges.
Storage Charges - Dwell time charges (after 10 days of free period) has been raised by 44-52% for 1122 days period to dis-incentivize storage beyond 10 days.
