A recent National Green Tribunal (NGT) order and a recent Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) order are both positive for Gujarat Gas Ltd. (GGL) and can deliver meaningful volume delta to GGL over the next three to four years, which can help ease the impact of the imminent open access regulations, even as we maintain that the vulnerability of Gujarat Gas to the open access rules is likely to be the least among the three City Gas Distribution companies (CGDs) under coverage (Indraprastha Gas (IGL)/ Mahanagar Gas (MGL) are the other two players.
