We expect Bata India Ltd. to post 37% YoY revenue growth in Q2 FY22 on the back of a low base and gradual opening up of cities starting June 2021, which gathered pace in Q2 FY22.
Revenue would still be lower by 30% from Q2 FY20 level.
Even though the pandemic affected Bata India with change in demand pattern from closed footwear to open footwear, the gradual return to work places, increase in social gatherings, opening up of schools and colleges etc. have all likely contributed to a better Q2 FY22.
We expect V-Mart Retail Ltd. to have grown its organic Q2 FY22 revenue by 115% YoY on a very low base and by 20% YoY over Q2 FY20 (which is quite a significant development).
