Banks, NBFCs Upbeat On Credit Growth Outlook - Expert Call Takeaways: Systematix

Credit screens for unsecured personal loans and self-employed business loans could be reduced gradually through FY22E.

Banks and non-banking financial companies are likely to adopt a cautious approach over loan against property disbursements in FY22E given the fragile business environment recovery and the overhang of selective lockdowns.

Nonetheless, loan volumes for banks and NBFCs should bounce back to normal in FY22E after witnessing some disruptions in the near term due to renewed lockdowns.
