ICICI Securities Report
The number of weekly average daily fliers stood at 367,000 in the week ended December 25, 2021 versus 360,000 in the week ended December 18, 2021.
For week ended Dec 25, 2021, the average number of daily departures improved to 2,795 from 2,792 in the previous week, and the number of fliers per departure increased to 131 from 129.
Key sector highlights -
Air France – KLM and InterGlobe Aviation Ltd. entered into codeshare agreement which allows each airline to sell seats on the others flight. Once the codeshare agreement comes into force, Air France - KLM group will be able to sell seats on its distribution system, of IndiGo flights on 25 domestic routes. Similarly, IndiGo will also be able to sell seats on Air France –KLM group flights on more than 250 routes.
