Automobile sector dispatches expected to improve month-on-month in November 2021 especially for passenger vehicles and commercial vehicles as supply chain situation improves gradually and demand is recovering well with pick-up in economic activities.
However, two-wheelers and tractor dispatches to see decline due to high inventory at dealer level owing to muted retail sales in festive season along with weak rural demand.
Commercial vehicles is witnessing strong recovery due to replacement demand and pick up in infrastructure and mining activities.
In passenger vehicles, semiconductor shortage issue to persist and outlook remains uncertain for the next three to six months, resulting in lower inventory at dealer level and high waiting period for cars.
