Outpacing the industry, NCL Industries Ltd.’s cement division did well, with the highest Ebitda/tonne.

Its Boards and ready mix concrete (RMC) divisions, however, suffered on closure of major markets and no progress could be made on the Chinese joint venture.

The Mattampally-plant modernisation and the 8 MegaWatt waste heat recovery System (WHRS) and new solar power agreement will help in cost savings.
