Anand Rathi Report

The unprecedented disruption in the form of Covid-19 has come as the real test for the infrastructure sector at large.

Though the impact is extensive, if Q1 FY21 is anything to go by some of the names were quick to react to the challenge, and ensured the impact was minimised to the extent possible.

Besides, most seek to turn more agile, resilient to disruption and maintain momentum in the post-Covid-19 era.

We see these efforts to find support from the sector becoming a focus area for policy-makers as a means to create employment opportunities and support economic recovery.

Consequently, we retain our long-term constructive view, but at the same time prefer select names.

With this, we present to you Q1 FY21 review and recent tendering/awarding trends.
