Analysing Nifty Performance In September 2021: Dolat Capital

Dolat Capital Report

Nifty gave a positive return of 2.8% during the month. 24 stocks outperformed the index and 26 underperformed.

Most of the stocks in the banking, financial service and insurance and auto sector outperformed the Index. Major stocks in the BFSI and consumer sector underperformed the index. 

Among the Indices, media index outperformed with a return of (33.3%) while metal index underperformed with a negative return of (down 1.8%) during the month.

Nifty Midcap 50 gave a positive return of 10.3% during the month. 15 stocks outperformed the index and the rest 35 underperformed.

Most of the stocks in the IT Services and capital goods sector outperformed the index.

Major stocks in BFSI sector underperformed the index.
