Centrum Broking Report

ACC Ltd. reported in-line Ebitda of Rs 6.3 billion (Centrum Estimate: Rs 6.2 billion), up 14% quarter-on-quarter/down 26% year-on-year and blended Ebitda/t of Rs 822 (Centrum Estimate: Rs 785), up ~11% QoQ/ down 24% YoY.

The sequential increase in Ebitda was due to marginal increase in cement realisation, higher sales volume and flat CoP aided by operating leverage which offset higher power & fuel and freight cost.

ACC is set to improve efficiency and has approved further addition of WHRS capacity projects at Chanda and Wadi plants (29MW) taking total capacity to 75MW.

The capex plan is on track which will expand overall cement capacity from 36.1 million tonnes per annum to 45- 50 million tonnes per annum in next 3-4 years.
