Jubilant FoodWorks Ltd.'s net profit jumped nearly by half in the third quarter as Dunkin’ Donuts broke even in India.
Net profit rose 46.2 percent year-on-year to Rs 96.5 crore, the operator of Domino’s Pizza and Dunkin’ Donuts chains in India said in an exchange filing today. It was aided by a 14.6 percent rise in same-store sales of Domino's Pizza and Dunkin' Donuts breaking even ahead of the targeted timeline.
Revenue rose 16.8 percent year-on-year to Rs 929.1 crore.
Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation rose 24.7 percent to Rs 170 crore. Operating margin expanded to 18.4 percent from 17.2 percent a year ago.
The company added new products to its portfolio including a ‘multigrain crust’ and four new side dishes. It also opened 35 new stores during the quarter.
