U.S. Elects Record Number of Women to House of Representatives

(Bloomberg) -- Women have won more seats than ever before to the U.S. House after a record number of female candidates were on ballots across the country on Tuesday, fueled by Democratic opposition to President Donald Trump.

With several races yet to be called, at least 86 women had been elected to the House as of early Wednesday morning. The record number of women serving is 84.
