(Bloomberg) -- Sweden’s government decided to offer all adults a third dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, to be taken six months after the second dose.

The government is looking “very seriously” at the pandemic situation globally and stands ready to enable new measures if the situation in Sweden worsens, Health Minister Lena Hallengren said at a press conference on Wednesday.

She also expressed a hope that vaccination certificates and high vaccination coverage would help avoid further restrictions.
