Roger Stone Prosecutor Resigns From Case Immediately

(Bloomberg) -- The prosecutor who tried Trump confidant Roger Stone has resigned from the case after the U.S. Department of Justice said it would lower its sentencing recommendation following the president’s criticism of a possible 9-year sentence.

Special Assistant U.S. Attorney Aaron Zelinsky submitted his withdrawal notice on Tuesday to the federal judge in Washington.
