(Bloomberg) -- The Yemeni army’s deputy chief of staff has died of wounds sustained last month during a drone attack by Houthi rebels on a military parade in the south of the country, the independent Al-Masdar news website reported.

Major General Saleh Al-Zindani was hospitalized along with military chief Abdullah Al-Nakhee and other senior commanders after the attack by the Iran-backed group on the Al-Anad base in Lahj province on Jan. 10.
